If you get an error about 3 files not updated in  folder - run Sims 4 Updater again.

GUI tool for updating/repairing your The Sims 4 game to the newest available version (1.68.154.1020). Just select installation folder, press Update and wait. It uses xdelta patches and full files to make sure the  is as small as possible. Updating from 1.47.49.1020 to 1.58.69.1010 was under 2.5GB (+ 4.48GB of DLCs released between those two versions).

Available modes:

Update - updates the game. Checks only those files that could have changed. Uses the hashsum cache - if file size and modification date match those from the cache then the file hashsum is not calculated.
Update + Force check files - same as above but skips the hashsum cache.
Repair - repairs the game. Checks all game files. Skips the hashsum cache.
Any of the above +  only - s the update but doesn't apply it. Useful when you want to update the game on multiple PCs. Once done copy the whole folder with Sims 4 Updater to another PC and run it again with " only" unchecked.

The Updater can  DLCs too. But if you want to  absolutely as little as possible use the Updater for updating the game and my repack for installing DLCs. The updater can even  the whole game but don't do it, use some repack instead,  size will be much smaller.

If you use a different "OrangeEmu64.dll" file because you get the "Hello ;)" error message - place that file in the same folder as the Updater, it will copy it automatically to the right place.

WARNING: once you run the game you will notice two things - Snowy Escape icon and " in progress" message. Obviously nothing will be ed because the game is cracked and that DLC isn't even out yet. So simply ignore it and wait for the release date.
