The installation failed, and when I try to reinstall it the files are considered mismatched. The game won’t launch anymore.

Not sure if it’s only me but file r30, r31, r32 wasn’t winrar/7zip type but their type was “.r30”, “r31”, “r32”. I changed it so they open with winrar/7zip automatically then unpacked all of the files and installed. It’s working perfectly fine. Update and dlc was installed correctly, no bugs or errors whatsoever
Same problem as nearly everybody. I saw the same things and I was thinking it’s strang, so I tried the same thing as you (to add .rar at the 3 files) and It works with a strang manipulation which I can’t and do it again. I spent 2 hours to solve this problem by finishing by something I don’t know how I realy fix it. Good luck !!
is there language changer? i have empty bubbles from tiny living, the old one is ok.
The update itself works without any problems. However, due to the missing language strings for the german language, I only have blank descriptions if I want to add something form the newest package. Whre can I get the german language strings? Kind regards

Probably the error is because you applied the language package, I was to uninstall my game and install all over again and apply the language package for last.

Lol you guys. If the update fails it’s because of your potato PC or potato anti-virus. Or corrupted files. Want to fix it? Disable anti-virus, re the update (Jer can check the hashsum of ed file if a service provides it; Mega does for sure, IDK about other servers) and reinstall the game and updates. Or grab Sims 4 Updater from CS RIN, that will fix everything in a couple of clicks.

I’m currently re-ing, the first attempt gave me an error during install – I’m not sure what went wrong as I’ve been ing and playing since Seasons and I have never had an issue. I had to uninstall and reinstall all the main game and the updates… and I’m going to give it another go once this finishes.

I ed everything and it installed nicely, but when I try to open the game it launches Origin…

When I install using the setup it says “an error has occurred while initial scan while in an initial scan in a directory. Installing of this update to the selected directory is not possible”. I tried changing the instal directory to my base game folder and it says hash sum mismatched. Please help 🙁

I notice there’s a lot of people having problems installing the updates, I was having problems too so i want to share the solution i found.
First I ed the updates from this site “https://rarbgproxied.org/torrents.php” they offer torrents for the updates.
then I installed the game, applied the crack, WENT INTO SAFE MODE, and installed the updates normally, had no problems whatsoever doing so, hope it helps.

The installer successfully installed and updated the game for these prior updates just fine . . .
UPDATE V1.58.69.1010 and UPDATE V1.59.73.1020
However for Update v1.60.54.1020 incl DLC-CODEX, when installer tries to find ClientDeltaBuild0.package to ClientDeltaBuild5.page, the above message comes up for all 5 files and can’t finish the update. I have tried several times but no success. Thank you again for all your hard work to make this game possible to play for everyone! 🙂
I am getting “There was an error of unpacking in the module ISxDeltaExtract” when installing 1.60, which messes up the MD5 of the entire install, meaning I can’t try the update again or run the next update. What gives?
