      @Claudio,

      What I’m surprised about is how no one yet has asked why you are using your Smartphone to view this site, and your worried about all the ads and pop ups?
      There are popup blockers / ad blockers that you can put on your Smartphone whether it be an Android model or Apple Iphone along with the other hundreds of Apps you have sitting on your phone.
      There are even ones you can use as plugins for Smartphone Internet Web Browsers like Kiwi that can effectively block unwanted ads and popups, it just takes a little effort on your part to look for them and to put it to use.

      How do you feel about ads and pop ups that turn up when you surf from your PC’s Internet Web Browser?

    With this version it doesn’t recognize my save file! I have to start over?! How do I make the game recognize my save? I went into AppData, but it creates a new save file everytime I launch the game.

      @Dia,

      The game ID for Tell Me Why is: 1180660, and since this is the Steam version of the game cracked by CODEX you are going to have to look for your save in a different location other than the AppData folder.

      The place where you want to look for your game save will be in the following location:

      C:\s\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\1180660\remote\gamesave_tme

      The gamesave_tme is your gamesave.

      Here is what I recommend you do:

      1) Go back to the Appdata\ Local\Dontnod \TME folder and if there is a gamesave_tme file there make a copy of it. Create a New folder somewhere on your Windows Desktop or on your drive and name the folder Original Game Save Backup, and then paste the copied gamesave_tme file into it.

      2) Now, go back into Appdata\ Local and permanently delete the Dontnod folder. Don’t worry, as in the first step you should have already backed up your Original Game Save.

      3) Now, go to: C:\s\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\1180660\remote\ and copy the gamesave_tme. Create a New folder on your Windows Desktop, or somewhere on your drive, and name it Steam Game Save Backup. Paste the copied gamesave_tme into the folder you just made.

      4) Now here is where you need to test your gamesave to see if it will launch. So go ahead and launch your game, and if you see from the main game menu the option to Continue or Load Game, then choose one of those two options, and if your gamesave loads successfully, and you are able to continue from the point at which you last saved the game, then you don’t need to do anything further.

      If you are unable to continue or load from your previous save point, exit the game to the game menu, and then exit the game itself completely so you are back at the Windows Desktop.
      Then go to the following location: C:\s\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\1180660\remote\
      Delete the gamesave_tme that is there.

      5) Now, locate the folder you had made in step 1, and from the Original Game Save Backup folder, copy the gamesave_tme and paste it into the following directory path and folder:
      C:\s\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\1180660\remote\

      6) Go to Appdata\ Local\Dontnod \TME and do the same thing with the copy and paste method for gamesave_tme from the Original Game Save Backup folder you made, and paste it into the Dontnod \TME folder.
      If there is an existing gamesave_tme there, it was most likely auto-generated while launching the game, so just replace it if asked to do so by clicking on OK to overwrite the old one with the new one.

      7) Launch your game, and from the game menu select Continue or Load Game if the option is there. If your game loads from the point where you had last saved your game, then all is good, and you don’t need to do anything further.

      The Steam Game Save Backup folder in step 3 that I mentioned is just as an assurance to act as a backup in case something doesn’t go right, or the Steam save file gets overwritten or goes corrupt.
