    The game is too crappy. If you want to play something like this, just play the double dragon remake or ShaqFu, those are a million times better than this.

      I wonder how many times did you play it, or you even had a Sega Genesis. This game has a MAJOR nostalgic quota that you, apparently, don’t understand.

        May 02, 2020 @ 05:50

        Bragado :p, i hope you realize this game never was released on genesis not even on arcades. If you want a nostalgic feeling, you should be playing to the third, at most. You guys talk too much.

      I agree, this game is enjoyable, but i refuse to play so many pixels in the year 2020. If i want to play something like this i will play the double dragon remake, the other SOR remake with good graphics, or ShaqFu barakfu, those are a million times better. And yes, i have MAME installed and i enjoy many many classic old games, but this game graphic quality is just, horrible. If people cant see they should just be playing mario bross and installing mame to play all those older pixelated games.

        May 02, 2020 @ 02:15

        @tantalus, I too agree that Streets Of Rage does look enjoyable too, and so I will try it out for the nostalgic feel of it. However, I am a little puzzled by your comment on not wanting to play the game because it has so many pixels in the year 2020, as you put it. As I read your comments about the game further, I understand that you were referring to the art style used in the game, which if you take another look at, has a 2 dimensional, animated, hand-drawn style to it. Now although you might not like that particular style, I have to say that if you have played Double Dragon: Neon, or watch a trailer of the game, you will see that it has a similar 2 dimensional look and style to it too, as the characters in Double Dragon: Neon are 2 dimensional cell shaded, while the level environments and stages have a pseudo 3 dimensional style to it.

        So given the preference of some of the beat-em-ups and other styles of classic retro games you listed in your post, your likes and dislikes for this game are sound enough, and although SOR 4 has it’s own style and game settings mode where you can actually switch from pixelated to more 2 dimensional fleshed out characters, the choice is really up to the players on how they want to play this new inclusion to the SOR series of games and whether or not they actually like what the developers did with SOR 4 and the style and modes of game play they went with.

        If on the the other hand, you happen to have some creativity within you to design or edit a SOR game of your own to what you think an awesome SOR game would look like and what you think others would like to play, then I would like to recommend that you GOOGLE up SorMaker and BOR. SorMaker and BOR are free and open source game engines based off the idea of creating your very own Streets of Rage game, with the later being BOR where you can literally have the freedom of creating or importing game sprites into the engine, adding your own music tracks, creating your own scripts or using the built-in game AI, creating your own levels and stages, and even adding in save points and other extras like bonus stages or a cheat system.

        It would be at least something for you to look at, even if you are curious or have thought to yourself, “Oh, I could build or design a better game than this one.”
        If you have that creative knack, or you just want to check out what other people have done, there is a plenitude of BOR type games based on SOR type beat-em-ups developed by some very talented people within the ever growing BOR community. You can easily look for them on YouTube, or GOOGLE it up.

    **********************
    IMPORTANT NOTICE
    **********************
    To the Guests who are asking about the GOG version of the game, there is something you should be aware of, and the source of this information comes directly from GOG’s store front page:

    “Please note that at this time, the DRM-Free version s local co-op only with up to 4 players. The 2-player online mode is not available.”
    Source: https://www.gog.com/game/streets_of_rage_4

    Now, this isn’t the fault of GOG as they do their best when it comes to DRM-Free games, and they are the only digital game online retailer that offers DRM-Free games.
    Having online play-ability in a DRM-Free game comes down to the sole discretion of the game developers and if and when it is possible to have that feature enabled at all.
    If you really want the ability to play online with other people in a match up, then your best bet is to get the digital version of the game from the Steam store.
    However, if you just want to play the local co-op with up to 4 players (with or siblings of your family), or your friends (once this covid-19 pandemic es us by and life goes back to normal), or even by yourself, you can still have fun playing it that way too.

    Also, if you would rather prefer to have the GOG version over the Steam version of the game, you can make a Request for it at the top of the page, and just about every page of this site when it comes to making game requests. Just click on that big Request link at the top of this page, and make your request. Don’t post your game requests in the comments section, as it is unlikely that it will be seen by the of the site, or be filled.

    If you are as big a fan of nostalgic beat-em-up games as I am, or you just happen to generally like games of that genre, then I think that you might be interested in knowing that a bunch of independent game developers who go by the name of Bombergames has put together a free, complete, and fully featured Streets Of Rage Remake, that covers all of the 3 SOR games of the SEGA era, and brings not only the classic characters that you love, but also adds in new characters as well. It even comes with an in-game level editor, called the SorMaker, where you can literally create your own levels, change character color palettes, add in your own music, and use your own creativity to design your own SOR game for others to play in your own game mod.

    Here is a short description of Streets Of Rage Remake v5.1 from the Internet Archive:
    Streets of Rage Remake is a fangame of the independent video game developer Bombergames since 2003, it is a remake of the original franchise of the videogame beat ’em up Streets Of Rage of Sega, popular between the 1990s, free modern updates and new features unlike the original saga, including the inclusion of new scenarios, characters, remixed music, game modes or even a store where you can unlock extras.

    It also includes an important feature, called SorMaker, that allows the to design, create and edit their own levels and finally a palette editor. Both are executable apart from the game.

    Source and link where you can the full and completely free fan made remake of SOR: https://archive.org/details/SORRv5.1_20190209
    Instructions: From the Options on the page of the Internet Archive, click on either the TORRENT or the ZIP link to the game. When you extract the zip archive, you will have a folder named SORRv5.1. Inside of this folder are all the game data files, a read me.txt, a game manual in html document format, the game’s executable, and the SorMaker game editor.

    To begin playing, just create a desktop shortcut from the SorR.exe in the SORRv5.1 folder, and move the desktop shortcut to your Windows Desktop. Double-click on the desktop shortcut to play.

    Here is a YouTube video to give you an idea of what this fan made game looks like, how it plays and what you can do with it. A link for the game itself can also be found in the video’s description when you click on the SHOW MORE link:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncC9fkGwGfU

    It does not matter where you get the SOR fan made remake from, whether it’s from the Internet Archive or from YouTube, the game is updated to the latest and last version available which is v5.1.

        @Nelson, Hello, could you be a little more specific with what links you mean? Are you talking about the links for Streets Of Rage 4? If you are, I just checked both the Torrent and the filecrypt links for the individual direct file host servers as well, and they are still active and online. Which specific link or links are you having issues with?

        If you are on the other hand referring to my post for the Fan Made SOR (Streets of Rage Remake) with the YouTube Video link, and links to get the latest version of it, those links are still active and working, I recently checked it a while ago. You can click on the bold white links, or you can open a New Tab in your Web Browser, and copy paste or manually type the URL web link into the Web address link of the New Tab window and press the Enter key on your keyboard, which will take you directly to the page for . I have also included instructions for this in my post, if this is what you were originally talking about.

      Tu n’as pas l’air bien connaisseur.

    • img
      May 02, 2020 @ 03:07

      @Overdose, you seem to be poorly misinformed about this site. This site does not directly host any games, and therefore all links to any material, media, etc., is completely separate from it.
      The links here only point to file hosting servers and is at the sole responsibility of the individual(s) involved to what gets ed to it.
      Also, this site does not do any cracking or have any means to crack DRM protected games, and is not d or associated with any Scene Release groups.
      Furthermore, what is your sole intent on wanting to have RE3 Remake cracked and complaining about it not being cracked, and then making such a childish and unnecessary comment about this site.
      It’s not this site’s fault that the game you want to play isn’t cracked yet. You seemed to have missed the big picture of why sites like this one even exist.
      Sure, no one likes DRM on their games, and although I can not speak for everyone here, I’m pretty sure that there are some people here that legitimately like to try a game before they buy it, and do so by later ing the game developer if the game they tried out was really enjoyable.

      If you simply can’t wait for a game to be completely DRM free, you are more than welcome to try cracking it yourself, but keep in mind that you would need to have some knowledge of coding, scripting, and hex editing to even be able to achieve a workable solution to remove such encryption / protection measures on Digital Rights Management tools and technological protection measures.

    Hi,

    how can i obtain the for the crack file?

    • img
      May 02, 2020 @ 03:48

      @Sal,
      None of the files from the individual links or Torrent are protected or need a . If you land on a site that takes you away from this site’s page and asks you to click on something like an ad to get your , play it safe and don’t click on it, as it may contain a Trojan, Virus, or Malware. If you are using a Web Browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or some form of Firefox variant, then you can an Adblocker like Adblock Plus to use to help prevent some site redirects and block unwanted ads.

      Also, it may just be that whatever you are using to extract archive files with like WinRar for example, may be outdated and you just simply need to update it with the latest version. This can happen sometimes. In this case where you try to extract a file with an extension like .rar or .zip, or even .7z, I can recommend a free extraction program that can easily handle extracting these archive files without any problems. It is called IZArc, and you can get it from the official site here (just click on the link here) which will open in a separate browser tab window while keeping you here on this site: https://www.izarc.org/

      @lil,
      Official updates from Steam will not work on cracked versions of the game. If and when an update becomes available for the cracked Steam version, it will be posted here as well as on the main pages of this site.
      Your other option is to make a request for the DRM-Free GOG version of the game as it will most likely have the update that you are looking for applied to it. You can make a request for games at the top of any page throughout the site here by clicking on the REQUESTS link. It’s best to do it that way than to ask for it in the comments, as it probably won’t get seen by the site .

    Can we play with friends online with with this or is it just single player at the moment?

      May 03, 2020 @ 01:06

      @Mike,
      Unfortunately the only way that you can play online with friends is with the Official Steam version from the Steam Store. Online play is not possible with the cracked version, and there currently is no online patch or fix to make this possible.

      Also, the GOG DRM-Free version does not have any online functionality available. Here is what GOG says about it:
      “Please note that at this time, the DRM-Free version s local co-op only with up to 4 players. The 2-player online mode is not available.”

    Been playing this since it was available on here and have applied the update etc I get game slow down and stuttering to where it’s unplayable and have to close it and restart etc. Even when it loads the start screen stutters and is not watchable. Just wanted to know if anyone else has these issues. On windows 10 and have a MSI Trident with a GTX 1050 TI so should handle this easily. Thanks for any help and keep up the great work.

    • img
      May 15, 2020 @ 00:43

      @Paul,
      It’s great that you listed some details about the issues you are having with the game, but you weren’t really specific in of listing your full system specs, so given the little information I had to go on from your posted comment, I had to physically look up what MSI series brand of gaming desktop PC you are using. I was able to determine from MSI’s product page for gaming desktop PC’s that you have a Trident 3 with an Intel® Core™ i5-7400 Processor, with an MSI GeForce® GTX 1050Ti 4GB DDR5 graphics card, and a motherboard that has 2 memory bank slots, 2 x DDR4 2400MHz SODIMMs that can up to 32 GB full RAM (Memory).
      Product Specifications Source for your Desktop PC: https://www.msi.com/Desktop/Trident-3/Specification

      You also didn’t give any specifics as to how much memory you currently have installed and are using in your Desktop PC hardware configuration. Since the memory bank slots on your motherboard have for pairing 2 DDR4 memory sticks with a memory band frequency of 2400MHz, you can only have the following memory type configurations installed in either one or both slots up to a full 32 GB of RAM capacity :
      1x 8 GB DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM (in the first memory bank slot).
      2x 8 GB DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM (two 8 GB sticks inserted in slot 1 and 2 for 16 GB RAM capacity).
      2 x 16 GB DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM (two 16 GB sticks inserted in slot 1 and 2 for 32 GB RAM full capacity).

      : That if you are adding more RAM (memory) in your system yourself, it should be paired in the way as shown in the list above, and it has to be in both the memory type and memory band frequency that is ed by the memory bank slots on your PC Desktop’s motherboard. If one of the pairs of RAM installed is not the correct memory type or is not of the same memory band frequency, your Desktop PC may not start when you power it on, or your System BIOS may only see one memory type being reported (while the incorrect memory type or memory band frequency is too low or to high and not ed by the system motherboard’s memory slots), and this could also lead to slow programs, and slow program startups as issues like in this scenario, would cause the system to read from only the one correct RAM that was installed, while the other one would fail.

      This is why it is important to have the correct memory installed, that is ed by your System Motherboard’s memory slot banks, and to pair memory correctly with type and memory band frequency. This means you need DDR4 memory with a 2400MHz memory band frequency, and the memory type needs to be SODIMM. You should be able to find this information on the labels of your memory sticks, or physically printed on them.

      Continued in Second post…

    • img
      May 15, 2020 @ 02:01

      @Paul,
      Continued from First Post:
      Also, if your system’s installed RAM (memory) is not the issue, and you have physically checked it by completely powering down your PC, unplugging the power cord from the back of your unit, and then safely opening it up and checking each individual memory stick for the correct memory type and memory band frequency from what it shows by the labels on the sticks and ing the information is indeed correct for what your system s, then you can move on to other areas of troubleshooting the issues for the game you are trying to play.

      You may want to start by looking at what current build of Windows 10 you are running on. To find out what current build you are running under Windows 10 and if you need to update to the latest build version, go to Settings > System > About. Look at the OS Build number there. If doesn’t show at least an OS Build of: 10.0.18362 (This is the stable OS Build from May 2019, also known as version 1903), then you will need to Update your OS to that Build version first, before you can update to the latest and most current stable version of OS Build 1909: 10.0.18363.

      You will only need to update to the latest stable version of OS Build 1909: 10.0.18363, if you already have OS Build 1903: 10.0.18362. If you have already set up Windows updates to automatically take care of all Important and essential updates like OS Builds, then you should already be up to date, but it wouldn’t hurt to this by checking and comparing the information here with what is actually installed on your own system and what OS Build you are currently using.

      If you like to be more in control of what specific updates and OS Builds are installed for your Windows 10 OS, then you can follow the direct link to the Microsoft Update Catalog that will allow you to manually install from an offline installer that you can officially to get the latest stable OS Build 1909: 10.0.18363. This only applies if you already have the OS Build 1903: 10.0.18362. If you are already up-to-date with the latest stable OS Build of 1909, then the following OS Build update from Microsoft will not apply to you:
      Direct Link for OS Build 1909 : https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4556799%20
      Instructions: Click on the Blue button next to: 2020-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4556799), and when the Updates window comes up, click on: windows10.0-kb4556799-x64_9de920d8738612baa81a751b003ff98f0ce7156b.msu
      You can then the offline installer for the OS Build update.

      I would strongly advise against using or installing any Insider Preview OS builds, as they are Beta preview builds, and can be very unstable. Only trust in installing stable OS Builds for your Windows 10 OS. Switch from Insider Preview Builds back to Stable OS Builds: https://www.howtogeek.com/274780/how-to-switch-from-windows-10s-insider-preview-back-to-stable-without-reinstalling/

      @Paul,
      You may also want to update your driver or check to see if there is an update for your MSI GeForce® GTX 1050Ti 4GB DDR5 graphics card. You can look directly on the manufacturer’s site of MSI to see if there is a Driver page and try to get the graphic driver there for your card, or you can go directly to the following direct link at NVIDIA GeForce Drivers:
      https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/159423/

      As your specific graphics card is listed under the ed Products for the Geforce 10 Series of cards, the driver for the direct link above is a Windows Certified (WHQL) driver. Installing this type of game ready driver from NVIDIA for your graphics card, ensures that it’s up to date with the latest driver version release and is optimized and “game ready” for all the latest games you want to play on your PC.

      Another good idea would also be to check and see if there is a driver update for your internal Audio Chip, as a lot of modern gaming desktop PC’s now have internal audio right on the motherboard. So again, a good place to check for any existing audio drivers would be on MSI (your desktop manufacturer’s website) under their Drivers or Driver page.

      It’s also a good idea to keep your Windows OS up-to-date as often as possible with automatic Windows Updates, not only for stable OS Builds, but also for keeping your system secure, and receiving other important updates to how your overall system is maintained and how well it performs. You may from time to time also have the need to check for updates to DirectX, .NET Framework, as well as any current updates for Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015-2019 for both x86 and x64, as a lot of games rely on these to properly run.

      If after trying everything I have suggested to help troubleshoot your game related issue with Streets Of Rage 4, you still happen to experience issues, I suggest you uninstall the game, and then re-install it without the update applied. It may just be that the update that you applied to it is what’s causing your current issue.
      Even if you still experience an issue with the game without the update, the only thing that I can suggest, is to try the GOG-DRM free version and see if that helps resolve things.
