If anyone wants to play with mods you first need to run launcher-installer-windows and then launch dowser.exe to open the launcher
I did that and still doesn’t work. Launcher shows info that there is an error connecting with STEAM, buttons to Close or Ignore and the game won’t start. Game starts only from stellaris.exe – no mods and no DLC available.
Are the DLCs included?
Can’t launche the game with DLCs. Shows “We were unable to ownership” error.
I think this is going to need a new crack of some sort. When you run the game there are new icons on the right side of the screen that list all the dlc and the one’s you own. Additionally, those icons do NOT match the indications made in the stellaris launcher. For example, the launcher just lists some of the newer dlc with the flag “could not ownership” however, in game, all of the icons read “not owned”. It looks like some new drm feature was introduced with 2.7
The game doesn’t start at all. After I click the .exe file, it shows a window with stellaris name and then the screen goes black for a few seconds and then gives a general error message. What should I do?
If you can’t get it to run, try switching to either non-full screen options. It worked for me. I still couldn’t run it from the launcher, but could from the .exe
