Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with DLC not showing up when the game is launched?

DLC is not showing in game

DLC works but it needs to be installed one by one from the DLC folder.
When will patch 2.6.1 be posted?

Do mods work? Can’t get them working.

This is a full explanation for you run MODs in your stellaris 2.6.1

First, the game’s launcher has changed in this new version, and the whole way to install mods has also changed, this is the main thing that players find difficult. Forget the way you’ve been used to installing mods before !

I ed the game from various places, and none of them had a launcher that worked perfectly. Launcher is not the file that opens the game, but the window that opens before the game, where you can activate the mods. Just to be clear, the file you should open is the dowser. The only version that worked was the GOG version, that I ed from this site (I’ve ed here several times, and it looks safe to me)

in the GOG version, you need to manually install all DLCs. Once the launcher opens without errors, and you can click on the “play” button and it actually opens the game, so you are on the right path

for those who are unable to open the game via the GOG version launcher, try to d3dcompiler_47.dll and install it in the folder where the game is located

Now comes the part where i teach you how to install mods

I all my mods from the skymods website (stellaris.smods.ru)

1) the first thing you should do is open the launcher, click on mods, click on “mod tools” (second option), and click create a mod. now, in the directory space, where “mod /” is, you will choose a name of your choice and this will be the name of the mod’s folder. example: “mod/RealSpace”. In the other options, you will be able to choose the name of the mod that will appear in the launcher (just a matter of organization and aesthetics), the version of the game (I put 2.6.1 in all mods), and a marker (you can place any one, for example, balance)

2) From the point that you confirm the creation of the mod, the launcher will create two files inside the game’s mod folder. This folder is under “Documents \ Paradox Interactive \ Stellaris \ mod”. One of the files is a folder, which has a file called “descriptor” inside it. The other file is a .mod file that has the name you assigned, and that is the same name as the folder. The basic structure of installing your mod is exactly that, and you don’t need to touch anything.

3) Once you have ed your mod, you will unzip the .rar file. normally, inside the .rar file, you will have two files, a folder and a .mod file, both with the same name. You will ignore the .mod file, as this file the game has already created for you. You will open the folder, and also ignore the descriptor, because the game has also created a descriptor for you, ? now you will copy the contents from inside the folder (if it is also compressed, unzip) and put it in the folder that the game created, with the name you chose.

4) Now, just activate the mod in the launcher and test.

cant get it to run. once the launcher opesna and click plkay stays stuck in a black screen.

I installed the game and started the launcher but i can’t start the game. On the launcher it say “launching the game failed” and when i start directly stellaris.exe a error appear 0xc000007b. Anyone here can give me any suggestion or know the cause of the problem?

actually lets wait for 2.7.2 patch cause they messed up pop job calculation in 2.7.1 so performance heavily suffers again so lets just wait for 2.7.2 patch release

Can the DLC’s not be seperate executables? it’s just bloaty and time consuming
