State of Decay 2 is an open-world survival-fantasy game set just after the zombie apocalypse. Your small community of survivors seeks to rebuild a corner of civilization, and you get to make all the decisions about how that happens.
You decide who to recruit to your team, where to settle your community, how to fortify and upgrade your base, and when it’s time to move to greener pastures. You select which survivor to bring along on a scavenging run for the food and ammo you need, and who you’ll use to fight off the zombies attacking your base. You choose how you’ll deal with other people who move into your town. Will you be friendly and welcoming… or will you aggressively defend your territory?
Every player’s experience in the sandbox is unique. Each character in your community has their own special set of skills and traits, so no two communities are ever the same. The challenges you face also vary from game to game, based on who you recruit and the decisions you make along the way.
With co-op multiplayer , you can visit your friends’ communities and help them through a tough spot, bringing back rewards for your own communities later. Alternate game modes include a full 10-hour narrative campaign and a four-player zombie-slaughtering "siege defense" mode.

this 21 update don’t look big deal but is better since the next updates will need this one.

Update 21, as you will soon discover, introduces a Western Style theme that brings some new Weapons and Outfits to the characters, plus introduces a whole new difficulty layout with adjustable slider settings in the game’s options to play the game in a customizable way to how you want to play it.
If it might not seem like a big deal to you, other gamers may think differently, as this was just one of many suggestions that gamers threw out to the Developers of the game for wanting to have with this Update.
As the Dev’s said themselves, and kind of threw in as a spoiler to what to expect in the next update, they did hint at Costumes and Outfits that would have a theme close to some classic and iconic horror movies, and to expect that to come close to around Halloween of this month and year.

I’m sorry, but this update stuff here is the biggest bullshit I’ve ever seen. Had to start over for the third time now. Stuck at Update 21. The game doesn’t start at all, the backups within the installer don’t work either. Previously I stuck on update 20 and had to start from a fresh installation. Now 21. This fucking update procedure took hours already.
Fuck it. I’m just gonna play sth different. I should stay with chess.
Guys, I’m having trouble launching update 21 to 21.1, I’ve tried several but I haven’t been successful. Anyone else with the same problem or a possible solution?
