Hello, the torrent link doesnt seem to have any files for me.
Fixed.
Also I removed the folder, then reinstalled but when I click the install app file when the cmd pops up I click on it then it finally stays, but does nothing, then if I press any button I get red error before it shuts saying not installed.
Game doesnt work anymore for me after the latest win 10 update. Installs perfect but Start Menu Shortcut isnt there. Nor does the game shows in any of the apps list on win 10. It worked fine in the past. Please help!

FOR ANYONE HAVING CRASHING ISSUES
You may have to reinstall the game BUT it will work. I had to do this several times to figure it out.
Install the game in the default directory it chooses. Launch the game to ensure it works
Install each update and launch the game after every update to ensure it works

install state.of.Decay.2. codex version just install all updates ver 2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 incl DLC(codex) and copy crack.

find the game directory where yous install it. mine:
C>game>state of decay 2>Appfiles then click+shit Open Powershell .
wait for powershell show your game directory
then copy n paste:
“Add-AppxPackage- AppxManifest.xml” run and wait till finish then you can see (2) SOD2 icon
in start menu – choose either 1 to start game.(windows 1903 work fine).

when i open the .iso file i run the setup to install the game. when i choose the directory and i click on instal the setup close itself immediatelly. i’ve hust tried to run itlike , but i can’t do it.

Hi! i installed it now like you. You have to install it (without the crack!).
Then not start it install all the updates (2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0) giving to each update installer the folder of the game (State of decay 2 NOT Appfiles).
Then copy the files from crack folder and put (also replacing) in the appFiles folder.
Then do what Dex18xx said before. Open the appfiles folder and open powershell (maiusc +è right click) and write Add-AppxPackage - .\AppxManifest.xml.
Then press start and select the FIRST State of decay 2 app
I forgot to mention that for this to work they have to disconnect from the internet.

Codex will update when steam release comes, i can feel it. Microsoft games is a pain in the ass for them in steam will be easier.
tried the game with updates on latst version of windows, fails to load 98% of time, the other 2% it either fails at loadup, or has the often-encountered “failed to check for updates” error and force closes (even with internet completely disabled)
turn off antivirus, exclude the instalation folder, turn off internet, do what matt said, run game, it works, turn on antivirus and net, still works

ok … so a few questions.I have win 10 1909 in dev mode. Do i NEED to get all updates for this too work? i have xbox beta and have an . I have installed this thing every way you could imagine. I finally have it to where it fails checking for an update. The reason i ask is i use my phone as my modem and ing all those updates sounds crazy , the game at 14GB took me 2 full days to dl and i dont wanna wait even more days to find out i still cant get it to work. Also , do i need ALL updates or can i just the 4.0 update to get it working as i seen in a youtube video.
