Out of curiosity did anyone find that BFG gun in rage 2?When i started the game for second time it said you’ve BFG.You can purchase ammo from wellspring.Then i went to the exact location where BFG supposed to be landed.But its not there.Anybody can confirm?

Yeah I also had it where it launched and just hung in there so I just copied over the crack myself and it launched, but now it shows the new DLC area but I cannot get the quest to start it off. Seems ALOT of people are having the same issue, and even editing the .ini file and adding it seems to work only 50% of the time.

Yes i did exactly everything as you said,i searched on rarbg.in website too.But nothing worked.I got the BFG but DLC is not working.I think its happening to legit steam gamers who bought the game as well.We’ll have to wait if codex releases a patch.This game is way too costly and i’m not going to buy it!

another problem is : i finished the story not just the story , i upgraded everything up to last upgrade and done all the side missions and capture and eleminiate all the enemys of all the map
i want to continue my way and by what i earned so far , get the BFG gun again and also by this all do the extra mission on new DLCs
So to do that i replaced my saved games , i changed the Steam_emu , but as u said there is no phone call , and there is no way to get the BFG gun.this is really big problem that someone must explane and tell us why ?

Game works but DLC does not :/
You can see the new area on the map, and the info on entering a hub and leaving it but no quests start at all. Needs patching.

Works perfectly. Got the BFG then got the distress call & went to Sunrise Oak Ark where the DLC begins. Been in the Overgrown City for a while now; it’s tougher than the main game but great to have new content to play. Lots of missions & locations to do; Iris is starting to get pissed off with me & there’s going to be a showdown … this is great.

Thanks to Butt Monkey, the only thing you need to do to enable the dlc is just replace the steam_emu.ini file.

OK I figured what and how exactly the DLC is working.
1) Go to your main game directory and find the steam_emu.ini and open it.
2) Add the following : 1067981=RAGE 2 – Rise of the Ghosts to the #ID=Name
BUT TYPE IT MANUALLY !!!! DO NOT COPY PASTE
It should look like this:
#ID=Name
1054920=RAGE 2 – Pre Order Bonus
1054921=RAGE 2 – Deluxe Edition Pack
1067980=RAGE 2 – RAGE Coins
1067981=RAGE 2 – Rise of the Ghosts
3) Now enter the game and after you leave a settlement you will receive the female distress call. If it works you can now start and enjoy the DLC.
4) After you started the DLC story game SAVE and QUIT the game.
5) Now you MUST DELETE the “1067981=RAGE 2 – Rise of the Ghosts” inside the steam_emu.ini file
WHY ?
It seems that you can add it to enable the DLC BUT also it causes problems, the DLC Project Reclaim and Rebuild does not appear in your menu as well as some new weapons.

Fast travel to a place first, after that leave that area until you are able to use your weapons again. If it doesn’t work then just in case finish any 1 repeated side mission (convoy, meteor feltrite or whatever). If after all that is still not working, the saves offered by Butt Monkey above me. In his saves there is also a steam_emu.ini file. Replace that with your current and it should work.
I forgot to mention something weird. DO NOT press CONTINUE
USE INSTEAD LOAD after the changes you make.

5) This is not 100& sure but I noticed something weird. When I was playing the Ghosts story and started playing around the map after the escape and visiting the settlement and received new objectives, for some reason I was missing the new Project menu Reclaim and Rebuild. I was earning points but I couldn’t spend them!! If you have the same issue to the Step 6
6) Now you MUST DELETE the “1067981=RAGE 2 – Rise of the Ghosts” inside the steam_emu.ini file. Just LOAD your game again and the menus should appear.
SIDE NOTES: If after all that is still not working for you either then please the saves offered by Butt Monkey above me. In his saves there is also a steam_emu.ini file. Replace that with your current and it should work.
SIDE NOTE 2: PLay the game for a while, save the game manually , exit to Desktop and Re-enter the game by using LOAD.
I finished the DLC & completed all locations; loved every minute! Sometimes Reclaim & Rebuild will show in your menu, sometimes not; often restarting the game will make it appear again. Just wait until it DOES show then buy/upgrade the four items .. after that it doesn’t matter whether it shows or not & you can just continue with the game. The ghosts take a bit of blasting away to kill but the only time I ran out of ammo was at Eden during the last mission: there’s nowhere at that point to buy any so I ran to a nearby location & got some there. The final battle with Iris will test your skills somewhat but great fun. Hope you dudes can get it working because it’s well worth it.

I install the game, copy the contents of codex folder in install directory and when i can to run the game the system show me errors: MSV140.ddl not found,VCRUNTIME140.ffl not found. How can i fix it?
install year 2015 Vc++ 32bit and 64 bit ,u can this from official microsoft website or usualy when u install game it ask u if u want to install VC++ software oru have one more option go in folder where ur game is installed and see if u have folder COMMONREDIST in that folder u can find everything u need usaly is directX and VC++ softwere for game u installed,just install it and run ur game but when u install it restart ur pc befor runing game.

First thing u always do is Update ur GPU if u didn’t do it this could be one reason why ur game has stop working…

I fixed it, i have updated GPU driver and now it works.

ed this twice cracked it and it doesnt work. Says its running in the background,but no program ever pops up,guessing its a really bad crack. Save you a lot of time don’t bother ing this unless they fix the crack which is unlikely.
