Still getting Crash to desktop after first movie scene, i can press ” New Game ” , do settings etc. but something makes the game crash to desktop, even skipping the moviescene makes the game crash.

I have tried every solution and yet the game still will not open. It doesn’t even run in the processes in task manager, I click on the Rage 2 shortcut or the direct RAGE2.exe and NOTHING HAPPENS!! I have all drivers updated and have followed all instructions carefully yet this crack DOES NOT work!!!!!!! Even with this hotfix, IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I starting to believe we all fell for a FAKE crack from CODEX as they are providing no REAL solution to fix this issue. Anyone who gets it open and can’t get past the intro, it probably crashes because this either is not the full game and they only cracked the game for the intro or THIS IS A FAKE CRACK!! If there is no solution in the next week then I am just going to buy the damn game cause this ain’t worth the damn headache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen –
430.64 nvidia driver for nvidia gpus
Install the game
Start the exe as rights and then wait for 2mins
Then check if the exe appears in the task manager below
If it appears then again wait for 2mins
Then it should run
For me it took 5mins in the first run
After it is running like charm without the hotfix.

Strano, a me funziona perfettamente, anche senza hotfix. Sicuro di aver inserito bene la crack ed eseguito al meglio l’installazione?
La configurazione con cui gioco è:
I7 8086k
MSI gtx 1080
16 gb ram ddr4 3000mhz corsair
SSD nvme 500gb wd black
Si ho eseguito tante volte l’installazione e mi funzione con tutti i giochi piu’ importanti prima di questo la cosa strana e’ che in task manager risulta partito…
Non so prova a reinstallare i driver nvidia, le directx o visualc++

My PC-System: i7-8700 U @ 2x 3.20 Ghz / GTX1070 / 16GB DDR4 RAM
My game won’t lauch either until I moved the file amdvlk64.dll out of Windows/System 32/ even tho I’m using Intel I7 core… hope this help some.

After I moved the amdvlk.dll file from the Windows / System32 folder, the game started normally !
I just hope that moving the amdvlk.dll file to any other folder will not cause any other problems with other games!! But with this method Rage 2 – CODEX finally starts !! THX’s!

Hello, how do I install the hotfix? there’s no executable and no instruction on how to install it so I’m left with a useless rar archive.
Hotfix archive doesn’t work. Anytime I try to extract it says “Data error in ‘Update\Setup-1.cdx’. File is broken”
Forgot to mention that I ed multiple versions of the Hotfix from like 5 different links.
Tested and works fine.
Winrar v5 minimum is required to extract files.
Does it have to be Winrar? I’m using the most recent version of 7Zip

I’ m getting crashes when i try to upgrade weapons or skills (i7 8700k + R9 Fury).
My game will work for 20 – 30 minutes then it’ll just crash randomly.
Must confused on how to fix this I’ve already ed the hotfix but still happens. I have 4 cores.

Hi skidrow m also facing the same issue with the game not launching at all but running in the background task manager process and moreover it would be kind if u can the torrent file for the update 1 so that after applying both the update the game might run as with the hotfix applied it doesnt start as well
