Thanks for this. Issue: It included an update to a soundtrack*.zip (extraneous original soundtrack expansion nonsense) file. It CRC/filecheck errors before it can patch if you don’t have that file in your install directory. I suggest removing the requirement for optional, mostly unused-non-gamefiles in the CRC check.

yea i already tried creating a new .zip file as well, however the installer has to have the specific hash information from the .zip header and original file that it is looking for was created…
sadly it is unique, if someone ed the original file to be ed and used then we could use that (even thought the music/etc. is already there) would have been better to remove that from the installer or only look for the folder and music itself instead of the specific .zip file and hash information.
In this case, I started with fitgirl’s repack and installed the codex updates. Fitgirl’s soundtrack doesn’t work with this and i’m on the fence about about switching over to the original codex release. At least I have the updates, but still.
fitgirl has two versions, started with her original which was not codex compatible, the later ones where because it was easier to do updates etc. after that…
so you pretty much need to get the first codex releases anyways.
while most of her packs/repacks are good and have good updates there are a few that she has a hard time with because of DRM and other stupid issues.
anything that uses forms of DRM whether its platform stores (steam, epic, orogin) make it much more difficult to keep up to date on games and stuff, specially since she works alone.
this is i think one of two games maybe (i forget the other one) that i have had to switch from all of her work, however check her stuff i think there might be a conversion update (i am not sure tho since it has been a while since i look at her site) or something if not that just uninstall and re-install you can get the repack (full) that is updated to 2.0.1….
hopefully CODEX will do another repack soon with full update to latest if nothing else though (as far as this update being frustrating).
