Can open only in Bannerlord.native.exe, the laucher open but when i click to play, he just close, and nothing happen, same with the bannerlord.exe, just stay starts to ‘think’ and nothing happens, someone with the same problem?

1.2 Alpha branch crash at the start

Sadly after i put the 1.2.1 above the 1.3 it wont load any saved game or new campaign. It’s just freeze in the loading screen.

For anyone that cannot open the game with the laucher or with the bannerlord.exe, i fix mine by unblocking every dll file in the \Win64_Shipping_Client directory, but be aware of one thing, almost every mod is buggy in the beta 1.3.0, i used at least 4 or 5 mods, and all of these are causing crash in this version, in nexus there’s a bunch of players talking about that.

Following the instruction from comment after extract the file & replace.
I’ve un-tick the read only options from the game folder, however the tick will still pops out whenever u refresh.
So I search for PowerShell from windows, and type the command
“” go to the gamefolder –> check out the read only option
Windows powershell –> dir C:\”Mount & Blade II Bannerlord” -recurse
that solved the problem for me

The beta version 1.3 is a total mess. It is unstable and introduced a bunch of new bugs. The worst bug is that villagers are stuck outside of villages, which breaks the whole economy and makes the game unplayable after a couple of in game days. Was a misstake to update to this version.. :/ the hotfix has adressed some of this bugs but it is currently not available here so i highly recommend staying on the stable branch for now..

Setting aside the beautiful improvements from the previous games, it’s very clear that this very much beta.
Performance is… far from perfect. I had 3 crahes in a row. A number of glitches and bugs are still to be worked on.
I’m gonna give this one a long pause until it’s done.

Patch 1.2.0 works perfectly event with an other cracked version of this game.

Entirely normal, that’s for everyone. You are “playing” in native but all other “mods” like sandbox and sandbox core that are the structure of what you are playing is getting updated. We think that the Native will stay in 1.0.0 till full realease.

You don’t have to whole game.
Just start the torrent in the same folder.
Files that are not changed are not ed, so this counts as update.
Same goes for checking your files, if something gets corrupted, just re in the same folder and wait for torrent to check your files. If one file gets damaged, you 4MB, not 50GB 😀

Well, All in One (AiO) is for previous versions that you might missed or have older version of STABLE (not beta) version (e.g. 1.11.0).
I would still recommend you run torrent (ignore that AIO update) and you will have latest version available here.
The way you run torrent is you set the path exactly where you have your previous version, torrent program will see if there is a change in files, and if it’s there, it will only changed files.
So you won’t all the files (50GB), just updated ones (cca. 15GB, might be more or less, depending on what files you have and if there’s corrupted ones).
If there is no check on torrent, and starts ing regularly, then you failed to navigate exact folder.
Hope that resolves your question/problem/doubt.

you need to sRemover i belive its called stream block remover or something like that and unblock all the files in the game i belive if you right click on the launcher.exe go propertys and click unblock it will work but i dont if it was the only thing to unblock so it and unblock the files and it will work if you have problems i will tell you in more detail how to do it
yep i just tested it you need Sremover to unblock about 105 files so the launcher can work doing it by hand will take hours just Sremover to do it for you its working for me

1.4.2 Beta Crashing on launch with everything bar .native but then crashes shortly after launch. I have tried earlier fix removing streams and also zipping the file renaming the file then unzipping but no difference. I ed by checking previous files to the original folder destination. And I also have a strong suspicion that there is a virus in the major version of e1.4.0. nope, saving still doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything, like adding antivirus exception (if you can call windows defender an antivirus), tried the unblocking through powershell with only read option for the folder method and yet only the .native game starts (irrelevant cause you can’t save); launcher and the simple m&b.exe crashing every time…

i finally figured it out i was looking for this the whole day and went over it at least 20 times without noticing it it’s simple you just need to right click launcher and the bannerlord.exe properties and click unblock since windows automatically blocks any file comping from another pc ( see image below sorry it’s in french )

@Gass not just luncher. you need to unblock every single file (.exe .dll etc) i did it with windows powershell and it works now.
Okay so there’s no fix to the “cannot save” issue? Adding exception to the anti-virus doesn’t work. Un-blocking the game files also doesn’t work.

Oh, I just fixed the “game failed to save” issue! You can only save if the game was opened with “Bannerlord.exe” and NOT “Bannerlord.Native.exe”.
Aside from that, you first have to unblock the game files using Powershell. You also must launch as . You also have to add the game as an exception in your anti-virus.
Quote in regards to using PowerShell: run a command (via PowerShell) like dir -Path “C: \ Games \ “Mount & Blade II Bannerlord *” -Recurse | Unblock-File (only with the correct address to the game folder). It is also necessary to put an asterisk at the end of the address, this will allow you to remove the block from the files inside all subfolders. Do it strictly in this order. When installing updates and / or mods, the procedure must be repeated.
