no sound effects? there is music, there is background ambient sounds like ocean waves but there are no enemy sounds and no sounds when attacking anything or breaking stuff
after the install the setup is launching simplex.bat which i think is supposed to extract a few additional files but it dosent execute properly. it just opens the bat file and closes it right again. i tried executing it with rights but still the same problem. running win10. not the first time bat files wont execute properly and i dunno why. anyone who can help me please?
ok i made some research because i have been having troubles to run bat files on my win10 install for a long time and didnt know why. if anyone has the same problem and the game wont have sound effects then chances are that you have the same problem. open your regedit and then Try emptying the AutoRun RegKey found here: “Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor” in the registry. and then open the morbid game directory and run SiMPLEX.bat again. this should then correctly extract all the sound files
