There are XFile program run inside patch. Its not related to this patch. What is this? Coin digger???
Is it true? How can you see that?
I think xfile (cross file) is responsible for extracting files properly and some error correction for overwriting updated files in the correct game path. I might be wrong. You can always check with your firewall to see if xfile (or related processes) is trying to access the internet.
This shitty game still getting patches and still has issues it is not even that good by the way feels clunky and incomplete let it die and go play something else

Anyway, for the White Screen issue, I used the -CS repacks of the 1.03, 1.03.1, and 1.03.2 updates from fitgirl’s sharepoint folder:

Specifically I used the -CS repacks and I’m fully updated and able to play. the .zips, extract the Update folder contents to the Elden Ring directory (Not the /game folder), and run the .bat file. They auto-delete after install so move on to the next update in sequence and repeat.

Works perfectly fine for me, All updates no problem, No white screen. Runs smooth 60fps max other than Grass(High) 1440p 2070super.
Hi guys! Is there a way to update save? I spent about 40+ hours on version 1.02, after updating game to 1.03 I get a message that I need to update the game save (via Steam) as well. Is there any workaround for this problem?

Go to appdata//name/elden ring, and delete this files, your save data will be deleted and when u started again the game, it’s new and good 😀
