this game cannot be put in pause. If you press Esc the game options appear but the game continues to run and enemies continue to attack you and to kill you. This is RIDICULOUS! And there isn’t any other button to be associated in order to put the game in pause. Let’s say e.g. you need urgently to go to the bathroom while you’re playing, you will not be able to pause the game and enemies will kill you and all progress will be lost. And save points are so far away too. What a shame
A disappointing game so far especially if you try playing Solo. The game is made for Co-op the single player is just an afterthought. You must be a huge try-hard to enjoy it so i stopped playing and went back to Everspace 2
