For whose is having problem with the crack, just extract the iso file and you will find a folder names “CODEX” copy and paste the sub-folder “game” in the game directory.

Erm nop. I never had Origin installed. And every single cracked game never needed it. Also no. It doesnt matter if you manually copy the crack, it still does not work!.
Apparently this last DLC has introduced major crash problems in the game (said by EA, not me) and its better to wait for next week to the game with the new patch.
This release doesnt work anyways, as i said, so, nothing we missed already.

I did everything as usual, replaced crack files in the folder, 64x bit ver gets removed from the folder right after the attempt of running it and it appears to be an infected file which makes it impossible to play the new version with new dlc. Besides waiting for new patch from EA is there any chance that this crack will be fixed?

hello, i ed sims 4 snow escape. but it doesn’t turn on the x64 bit. When I research it seems that the old version is required. I cannot play the last updated dlc because the x64 bit is not opened. The game opens over 32bit.
The game plays fine, but the bottom bar is all messed up, with wrong and cropped icons and objects turning into a black square (like windows). I imagine it will be fixed in an update. Thanks CODEX!

The problems I’ve experienced:
-Some animation crashes
-Game crashes
-Script fails, objects disapearing or not placing. This includes most beds, counters, all benches and a lot of new items like hot springs.
I only played for 2 hrs, so there might be more, but this makes gameplay really difficult, hope it can be fixed soon.

Everything worked just fine for me, I had no problems with the installation. It’s just that the game crashes from time to time (don’t forget to save guys!) but i think that is because of the new patch from EA, hope it will be fixed with the next patch.

Yeah, it says origin is not installed and when I use the crack to access the game directly, the last expansion is Island Paradise… it ignores the latest ones/game packs.
As said millions of times, the crack isnt working. And dont believe people saying “it works, ive been playing blah blah”.
You also dont need origin to be installed. And the crack also doesnt work if copied manually.
None of this matters since the last official update (as said millions of times, again) has introduced major problems into the game. Crashes everywhere due to problems with the sounds. EA already said that the only way to “fix” these crashes is to play without sound. Or wait to this week and a new patch that they will release.
Please people stop asking things already commented in a dozen of older posts.

Ok guys i used to have origin error notification. i erased previous game.
Then i turned off anitvirus and windows firewall.
After i ed ‘The Sims 4 Snowy Escape-CODEX” via torrent i clicked at “codex-the.sims.4.snowy.escape’ > ‘setup’
On the window that shows up make sure u check the box “Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir ”
Works great at the moment.
See thats the problem. I dont know if the firewall is the problem, but i cant just deactivate it, since it is vital for other games, like forza horizon 4 (it wont connect to servers if you dont have the firewall activated). I also tried to add firewall rules, i could not cuz apparently they are already there.
In any case, me and most people will need to just forget about this game because it wont run no matter what we try (i tried everything at this point). Until the crack itself is fixed or repacked in different way, maybe, this game is gone for us.
Works perfectly for me, I was very suspicious but so keen to play so i ed this and the update yesterday. I did as instructed and was so surprised when it was running completely smoothly. I’ve played now 8 hours without any issues or a single crash. Couldn’t believe it based on these comments, but literally did not have any issues! Also did not turn off firewalls or anything, so yeah.

Well, the anadius repack journey to batuu i had installed before i decided to get rid of it was working perfectly fine. I installed the codex version of snowy escape and it doesnt. So clearly something is going on on the Codex release. And once you installed the game through the Codex release, it wont work, even if you update the game with the anadius updater. I will need to wait for a fitgirl repack or the next repack, because this one, its a complete mess.
Well it seems like Avast sees the TS4.exe as a filereplamalware . I turned back on the antivirus and then shortcuts and ts4.exe got deleted from everywhere. It’s not actually codex fault.. it’s because the files dont have an AP certificate … Nevermind guys do it as I told u above and then turn on the antivirus, try to open the game ( it won’t open , the antivirus is going to block it ) go to antivirus app history and bring back the files they got deleted and make them excluded .
It has nothing to do with the antivirus. You are just describing a different issue, not the one im talking about. But so you know, i dont have any antivirus installed. And Windows defender has the folder exclusion already. And as i say, just two days before i tried the Codex release i had the Anadius repack installed without any problems at all.
Okay can you tell me whats going on in details ? maybe i can find a solution 😛
I figured it out. For me and many people the Codex release just does not work. BUT, i went back to the Anadius repack, and i updated the game with the Anadius updater WITHOUT even touching the Codex release, and it works perfectly. So yeah, something is going on with the Codex release. Maybe some people dont have problems, but many others do.
i use Win 7 SP1 x64, and Avast Anti-vir

1. TS4 Snowy Escape Codex and Update v1.68.156.1020-Anadius
2. Mount Iso, and install it (with copy crack to instal dir checklisted)
3. After its done, manual update udate v1.68.156.1020-Anadius
4. Open Avast, Add The Sims 4 Install Directory to Exception list
5. Delete old Electronic Arts Folder from Documents
6. Run it as
7. A windows firewall pop up appear, then i click “Allow”
8. The game is running fine (No Errors) for me

You guys are so annoying. Again, yes, that is what most people did, its not a problem of firewall/connection or whatever, it is just the CODEX release is different from the Anadius release and it doesn get along in many systems, apparently. Nobody knows why. Like me, these people CANT use the Codex release in any way. They need to install the anadius repack and update from there.
For these people, me included, if they install the codex release and apply the anadius update over it, it wont work. It doesnt matter how many rules you add to the firewall or the folders you remove or whatever. I already tried a million things before i ditched the Codex release. This is not the first time CODEX do a lousy job on the crack. This is not their best year…

I am getting “Unable to start: Initialization error at startup 135dec40:984c6a38:00000077” error? I have allowed access to the TS4_x64.exe file in the Bin folder from Windows Security but it still gives the same error. The only way I was able to start the game is from the same .exe file in the Bin_LE folder but that one starts up the 32-bit version. Can it be due to the fact that I have ed it in my E drive and not the local drive C? I’d really appreciate some help 🙂

I found the solution. I had the Sims 4 with The Sims 4 Snowy Escape Update version 1.69.59.1020, I had to uninstall everything until I removed Documents \ Electronic Arts \ LosSims4.
1. Install The.Sims.4.Snowy.Escape-CODEX again but don’t use the crack.
2. Install the latest version The update for The Sims 4 Snowy Escape v1.70.84.1020 includes DLC-CODEX copy the crack and paste it where you have the game. do not install the other updates.
3. If you have used the program to change the language (TS4_Language_Strings), you must put it as originally, for example: English.
4. Just copy (language-changer.exe) and paste it into the game, the other files in (TS4_Language_Strings) don’t copy it. they just copy it (language-changer.exe) and paste it into the game and change the language because if they don’t you will get the error: the sims 4 initialization error

Ok so I installed the previous version, Eco Lifestyle I think it is and it gave me the msv120.dll error it does because Visual C++ hadnt been installed. So i went on the installation folder of the game and under _installer>vc I installed the visual c++ from there and from the vp5. Then tried running Snowy Escape again and this worked. Just wanted to report it in case someone is on the boat. Cheers
