1. Unrar 2. Mount or burn the .iso 3. Run our installer, Setup.exe 4. Block the game in your firewall 5. Run the game.
when i mount the exe and then press the install botton it says “cannot find the installer”

Having trouble installing, unrar, mounted iso, run the .exe and still getting cannot install from directory (something like that) Can someone throw up a more specific install guide please? 🙂

I heard this version requires manual creation of installation Dir, privs, and a bit of luck.
I get error 0xc000007b when I try to start the game.
I think it’s a x32/x64 dissonance error.
If im not mistaken, ancient ruins would stop x32 .
I have a x64 pc though.
i get the 0xc0000005 error, something wrong with the crack maybe…
This release doesn’t include neither DX9 nor VCRedist and those libraries are necessary to run this game. CODEX releases included those.
We need the codex version of the game which works with smart steamemu for LAN play.
Any news if CODEX will be releasing the patch for this? I got the 2.2.7 and people above say that they can’t install the game.
Still waiting for CODEX version dude….I have been checking the website every hour since morning for the update release!

Hi so I ed this version. I installed it and for the first 30 minutes I have had no issues at all so maybe it is fine to this. I did not encounter any errors like the guys above.

This new version doesn’t 32bit systems anymore so if you it make sure your system is x64.
Hi! Can you please tell me if it works fine with LAN Multiplayer (Using Smart Steam Emulator v1.4.3)? Because I play it with my brother and until now only had been using CODEX versions which worked flawlessly….
Just had my 1st error in the game after playing for about 4 hours. It just so happened that I was hailed by 1 of the civilizations and I had an Autosave happening at the same time. My computer froze and then automatically restarted. Will keep you informed on the latest progress

This version doesn’t work.. either the 2.3.1 update. Nothing happens when I try to start the game with stellaris.exe, tried doing it with rights, nothing works. “HOODLUM” brings back memories of shitty half baked cracks that didn’t worked like back in 2004.

Why are all the DLC-s missing? Is it just me, or is the repack wrong?
I have the same problem. The DLC files are all there, but the game wouldn’t recognize them. Pls help!
Actually, the files aren’t there, only the folders, but they are practically empty, only a .dlc file (around 300 bytes) and a .zip file (around the same) in each folder.
The actual DLC content is missing.
Was very confused by this for a while, I first installed this then the 2.3.1 update from Hoodlum, couldn’t get DLC to work for the life of me, but then I went and manually copied the crack files from the HOODLUM folder in the 2.3.1 patch and now the DLC shows just fine in the launcher. It seems manual copying is required as HOODLUM overlooked it
